On Shuster LIVE, Parubiy said that the military was also able to increase the area of controlled territory, in particular to the southwest of Lugansk.
As Navigator reported, today Lugansk was subjected to artillery shelling. “Today turned out to be one of the bloodiest days for Lugansk in the entire history of the war. According to local residents, there has never been a more brutal shelling. It is reported that the 30th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered the city,” write social media users.
Local residents reported that military planes were flying over the city around 22 p.m., but no airstrikes were carried out.
Heavy fighting also took place in the Popasnaya area. Soldiers of the Donbass battalion also took part in the clashes. Conflicting information about losses is coming from the warring parties.
