“The Territorial Election Commission of Novoaidar is carrying out an urgent evacuation,” said the coordinating council of the election committee of the referendum on the choice of status for the Lugansk region.
“Members of the National Guard first blocked the entrances to polling stations with armored personnel carriers, and then destroyed the territorial election commission of Novoaidar,” social media users report.
In addition, in 14 districts of the Lugansk region there are serious problems with telephone communications and the Internet.
As Navigator reported, due to the actions of security forces in the Belokurakinsky, Svatovsky and Troitsky districts of the Luhansk region, it was not possible to open polling stations. Supporters of the “Luhansk People’s Republic” planned to send mobile election commissions there.
