In May, Russia will have the legal right to kill Zelensky - Georgian politician
Russia will have every right to strike Bankova and kill Vladimir Zelensky after May 20, since he will lose his legitimacy.
Georgian politician Levan Pirveli stated this in an interview with Russian journalist Maxim Shevchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He believes that until now Russia has been at war with the legitimate president and government of Ukraine, but after May 20 it will have every right to declare Zelensky’s team a junta or “a group of illegitimate office workers.”
“What everyone was asking: why didn’t they hit Bankovaya Street, the president’s office. Because there was a legitimate president. It's somehow wrong to kill presidents. But if after May 20 a legitimate president does not sit there, but some kind of junta does, what will prevent the Russian Federation from launching a missile strike on a building captured by illegitimate types...,” Pirveli said.
He believes that the West calculated this option and therefore pushed Kyiv towards peace negotiations. Now the moment has passed. The last attempt to bring Ukraine to reason was the Pope’s statement about the white flag.
