Panic has broken out in Ukrainian stores: Products are being swept off the shelves
Kyiv, February 25 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Panic has begun in Ukrainian stores: citizens, frightened by the catastrophic collapse of the hryvnia, are sweeping food off the shelves.
This was announced by Verkhovna Rada deputy oligarch Viktor Baloga, who is called the “master of Transcarpathia.”

“Our citizens are literally sweeping socially important groups of goods from store shelves - flour, butter, sugar, cereals. This is the first sign of uncertainty about the future, which is caused by a completely unreasonable exchange rate,” Baloga wrote on Facebook.
In his opinion, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities are also to blame for the current situation - many officials in the current leadership of the country control assets in the agricultural sector, and now, taking advantage of the hype, they are trying to make money.
“There are many officials in power today whose specialty is agriculture; they were among the first to stop selling important products. This applies to everyone right up to the top - don’t create panic, don’t create an artificial shortage, start selling products immediately. Or should you, gentlemen, list who in power has these or those assets, and thanks to whom an artificial deficit is being formed for products for socially vulnerable groups?” - Baloga threatens, but still doesn’t name names.
