Kyiv, August 23 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Just two weeks ago, the residents of Donetsk were more or less clear about the geographical contours of the territories subject to intense artillery shelling. This was the Petrovsky district, the Peski microdistrict, the Oktyabrskaya mine area and the airport. The city of Makeevka was considered a kind of “oasis”, which was avoided by shells, and where there was relative calm.

Now Makeyevka is being shelled frequently, shells are exploding in almost all parts of the city.
Central streets, areas with green spaces, commercial facilities, the private sector, blocks with multi-storey buildings - everywhere you can find craters of various sizes, fallen and chopped trees, destroyed and damaged buildings.
And the most tragic thing is that the number of victims is increasing every day.
Children no longer play on children's playgrounds, but now boys' favorite pastime is digging into craters in search of fragments, and finding the “tail” from a shell is simply luck.
Although such, very dubious, luck can smile more and more often lately.
As a result of shelling, there are few people on the streets, and residents try to be closer to their entrances when leaving home, so that they can take cover in case of danger. But, given the powerful shells used against civilians, there are fewer and fewer places left that will become salvation in case of danger. And this scares people the most.
