About it Donetsk News Agency reports.
“The exhibition-exposure is 40 forty works by war correspondents who filmed the destruction caused by the war in Donetsk, Gorlovka, Debaltsevo,” said one of its organizers, People’s Council deputy Maxim Knysh. “Take a closer look, these destructions were caused mainly to infrastructure.”
Among the pictures are shots of burning houses, a destroyed Palace of Culture, broken monuments, shelled schools and kindergartens. The exhibition is complemented by a huge scroll. This is a collective letter from Donbass residents to Ukrainian President Poroshenko about the horrors that the war brought to the region. There are already several hundred entries on the letter scroll.
“You can’t look at the stands without shuddering,” city resident and seller Tatyana Ansekina shared her impressions. — I have a daughter and three grandchildren in Donetsk. How long they had to sit in basements, how many shellings they had to endure... This exhibition seems to be about my family.”
An exposition of war correspondents was previously held in Donetsk. And next in line are Khartsyzsk and Novoazovsk.
