A book about the Boeing MH17 shot down over Donbass was published in Malaysia.
The appearance of a book dedicated to the crash of flight MH17 indicates an increasing desire of Malaysians to form their own opinion about what happened, against the backdrop of how one-sided and biased this tragedy has been covered in the West for years.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We saw a message that a book dedicated to the plane crash of flight MH17, written by the famous Malaysian writer Ibrahim, was published in Malaysia. His works are even included in the school curriculum. Have you heard anything about this new publication and how can you comment on it? – Zakharova voiced a question from journalists.
“Indeed, such a book was published in Malaysia at the end of May,” a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman confirmed. – As far as we know, this information was shared by our experts, the author paid special attention to the various versions of the crash of flight MH17, as well as the motives, including not always obvious ones, which, as he believes, motivated certain countries at various stages involved in the investigation of the plane crash . For example, the United States, according to the author, could use the tragedy to justify the need for new sanctions against Russia.”
“The appearance of this book shows the increasing desire of Malaysians to form their own opinion about what happened. We believe that the latter is especially important, given how one-sidedly and biasedly this tragedy has been covered in the West for years,” added Maria Zakharova.
