This decision was made on Tuesday, September 9, at a meeting of the Mariupol Defense Headquarters, according to its Facebook page.
In particular, entry into the city from all directions from 20:00 to 6:00 will be allowed only to persons with Mariupol registration. Traveling at this time of day will be completely prohibited.
As the participants of the meeting noted, this measure was taken “in order to prevent intelligence officers and saboteurs from entering the city, as well as to prevent the enemy from promptly informing the enemy about the actions of the ATO forces.”
As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko visited Mariupol, who said that the city “was, is and will always be Ukrainian.” But he didn’t bring his wife with him: he planned a joint trip when it was peaceful.
