“In Mariupol, garbage has gone crazy. Either they will take the money, or the car will be taken away. There were 3 cases within two days. One of them: traffic cops, together with the Organized Crime Control Department, near the police building, without leaving the cash register, took away 2500 UAH from the volunteers,” he wrote on his Facebook page and posted a video in which one of the victims, who provides assistance to Ukrainians, talks about the details of the incident military.
According to her, people in balaclavas introduced themselves as the Azov regiment and demanded money, and otherwise threatened to take the car for the needs of the ATO.
“A man in a balaclava and with a weapon, for example, for me, is a holy man. And just yesterday we found ourselves in such a situation that…” the woman said, noting that the men introduced themselves as residents of Ternopil, although they spoke Russian. In addition, they detained another car in her possession: they found fault with the documents.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier residents of Mariupol reported that a drunken Ukrainian serviceman decided to earn extra money: with a machine gun, he demanded money from the drivers, otherwise he threatened to shoot them.
