In Mariupol, displaced persons can only find work in a pre-trial detention center
Mariupol, September 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Mariupol, displaced people are offered work in pre-trial detention centers and colonies.
This was reported by the organizers of the local job fair, the website “0629” reports.
20 employers in Mariupol provided 164 vacancies to the unemployed, including vacancies in the pre-trial detention center, Priazovsky correctional colony and correctional center No. 138. There are also proposals from Mariupol-Auto, the State Treasury, the Pension Fund and the primary health care center, housing enterprises, one of the district courts and Zelenstroy.
At the same time, the unemployed complain that there are no suitable vacancies in the city. For example, there were no jobs for managers.
“I really want to find a job, but there aren’t many offers, now I’m writing down options and communicating with employers,” noted one of the fair visitors. – I don’t even look at the salary. Anything is better than sitting without work.”
At the same time, the fair had vacancies for an accountant, psychologist, manager and physician. The average salary for these vacancies is from 1,3 thousand UAH. up to 4,5 thousand UAH. There are also offers for blue-collar professions (welders, electricians, mechanics, assistant drivers). In particular, such employees are needed by the Azovstal plant, which offers a salary of 3,5 thousand UAH. The organizers noted that there are about 25 vacancies at the enterprise, and there are a lot of applicants.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously displaced people complained that they were not being helped: they were not processing social benefits, raising housing prices, being deceived by realtors, and being denied work.
