Social activists who addressed the deputies proposed to deprive Dmitry Sablin of his title because on March 1, 2014, at the extraordinary meeting of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, on March 347, XNUMX, he voted for the Resolution “On the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.”
“In addition, the SBU is now checking Sablin for involvement in terrorism and separatism in Mariupol. A pre-investigation check is underway, during which a decision will be made to initiate or refuse to initiate a criminal case. Also, according to preliminary data, Sablin was included in the list in accordance with the adopted Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions,” noted the chairman of the public organization “United Mariupol” Denis Gavrilov.
Rane Gavrilov personally appealed to the SBU with a request to recognize Sablin as persona non grata and ban him from entering the territory of Ukraine for a period of 3 to 5 years or for life.
As Navigator reported, on August 6, at the instigation of Kharkov Mayor Gennady Kernes, the city council awarded two Russians the title of “honorary citizen of Kharkov,” after which Interior Minister Arsen Avakov demanded that the city council be dissolved.
