Let us remind you that the day before, not far from Novoazovsk in the city of Sedovo, a technical observation post of border guards was shelled. Two boats moored to the shore, from which mortar fire was fired.
15 people took part in the attack. As a result of the shootout, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and eight more were wounded. The observation post building itself was destroyed, and the post office and medical center were damaged.
At the same time, in Mariupol itself the situation is calm: there are even vacationers on the beaches. The city is patrolled by police officers and volunteers.
According to information from the speaker of the special battalion “Azov”, press secretary of the Social-National Assembly Igor Mosiychuk, people were detained who could have participated in the shelling of the border posts.
“The Azov special battalion detained terrorists transporting a shipment of weapons from the territory of the Russian Federation to Ukraine. It is possible that the detainees are involved in armed attacks on our border outposts and murders of border guards,” he said on his Facebook page.
As Navigator reported, earlier the State Border Service of Ukraine announced strengthening control over the coast, especially the Sea of Azov.
