In Mariupol, the “supervisor” of the city’s criminal authority was detained with drugs
The SBU detained a criminal authority in Mariupol while transferring drugs to a correctional facility. As law enforcement officers found out, the man was “appointed to look after” the city by criminal circles in the Donetsk region.

About it reports the press service of the SBU in the Donetsk region.
“Together with his accomplices, he imposed tribute on local merchants. Law enforcement officers documented that the money was used for material support, in particular the purchase of drugs, for imprisoned criminals,” the SBU explained.
It is noted that the operatives detained the “authority” in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, at his place of residence after organizing the transfer of marijuana to a correctional institution.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Operational investigative actions are ongoing.
