About this news agency QHA said Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz, commenting on the preliminary results of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“When compiling the lists, the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, should have at least been in the top twenty, and not in the 71st place. I think that this political force did not set the goal of giving a proper assessment of the role and place of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and its chairman, but set the goal of getting into parliament, which played a kind of roulette. I would not like to talk about the attitude of this political force towards the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people. I believe that if Chubarov were in the top twenty, it would be much more important, more relevant in general for Ukraine and the political force that he represents. To put it mildly, we are in misunderstanding and bewilderment,” the politician noted, commenting on the preliminary results of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
