The Majlis is divided on the issue of representation of Crimean Tatars in the State Duma
Simferopol, April 03 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Crimean Tatars are not considering the possibility of their representation in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

This was stated by Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Head of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov, reports the resource “Crimean Tatar Question.online”.
According to the politician, the future fate of the Crimean Tatars has not yet been determined. Nevertheless, he is sure that the Crimean Tatars should be one of the parties in the discussion of their fate.
“Crimean Tatars should be a fourth party: the international community, Ukraine, Russia and Crimean Tatars,” the deputy noted.
In turn, the head of the Mejlis’ external relations department, Ali Khamzin, is not against the representation of compatriots in the Russian parliament:
“Why not?” he noted.
“Today, all sorts of different statements are heard... But Crimea was carefully surrendered... The task of certain forces in both Ukraine and Russia, connected to each other: for the Crimean Tatars to begin to migrate. Our task is to prevent this,” Ali Khamzin emphasized.
