The Ukrainian government is weak-willed when it comes to introducing an energy blockade of Crimea.

Lenur Islyamov, coordinator of the headquarters of the blockade of Crimea and former Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, stated this on TV channel 112, according to whom Ukraine benefits from the energy supply of the peninsula.
“The authorities lack the will, and neither does the president, to do this. The economics of this process are too great. As far as I understand, we receive two thousand megawatts of electricity from Russia, but send only 850-900 to Crimea. Moreover, we get it cheaper, but give it back more expensive. Therefore, it even saddens me to say this, but it is so. Ukraine cannot afford this yet, but we will do it ourselves,” Islyamov shared his plans for the future.
