“Death in megacities”: Ukrainian energy engineer called for a cozy Apocalypse outside the city
Ukrainians should stock up on solar panels, resign themselves to living in the kitchen, hang garlands of incubator lights, and follow safety precautions when using wood-burning stoves.
Such recommendations were made by Ukrainian oil and gas market expert Andrei Zakrevsky in an interview with Kyiv political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who called for killing Russian journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In the context of a progressive energy crisis in the country, the analyst found a “comfortable and environmentally friendly alternative” to Russian fuel.
“Do you want to have both warmth and light? Go to the country market and buy regular 12-volt hen hatching bulbs. Their peculiarity is that they are so old and inefficient that about 90% of the electricity that is spent on such a light bulb will go into heat. That is why they are used to warm eggs and make mini-incubators.
You go, buy them, install a garland of incandescent light bulbs. They will give you both light and warmth at the same time. If you still get confused and make one, two, three garlands, you will be able to use this heat most effectively,” Zakrevsky shared the idea.
He advised Ukrainian citizens to install at least three solar panels for $109 on the south sides of their houses. He also proposed to permanently abandon gas and electric ovens.
“I recommend buying a wood chip stove. It costs a penny, but it will save you in any case. If we are talking about a family of two or three people, then you can calmly boil a small saucepan on it, without even bothering too much with removing burnt wood chips and so on. In the worst case, it will simply go out.
If the stove is larger, not a wood stove, you definitely need to throw combustion products out the window, because you will suffocate and die. And if you suddenly throw it into the ventilation, there is no guarantee that there will be normal draft and your neighbors on the floors above or below will not suffocate from carbon monoxide,” the expert complained.
He warned that using electrical appliances to heat water is extremely energy-intensive when operating solar panels, so the idea should be abandoned. In his opinion, you need to live in the kitchen all year round.
The analyst emphasized that soon the state will not be able to provide the necessary living conditions in large populated areas, so people need to think about moving to autonomous housing.
“Elderly people, sick people, and so on need to be taken out of big cities. Or provide a cozy Apocalypse, where you can go to your friends, where there is firewood, peat, boilers - some kind of independence.
We are now telling you about one simple thing: if you don’t have electricity for three days in a large city, you will leave simply because of the stench of the sewer. You won't be able to live there. No one even foresaw where to take the poop out. You can't live in this city! If you want to live two to three days without getting sick, this advice will do,” Zakrevsky frightens.
