A huge queue of people wishing to swear allegiance to Russia has formed in Melitopol
New passport centers will be opened in the Zaporozhye region. This will happen just the other day.
Aleksey Selivanov, ex-adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, deputy head of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Zaporozhye region, writes about this in his column for PolitNavigator.
Suitable premises in Berdyansk and Energodar have already been prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Zaporozhye region. And residents of the Zaporozhye region, according to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who have the right to obtain Russian citizenship in a simplified form, will not have to go to Melitopol to submit documents.
Because the queue for submitting documents in Melitopol has already been booked almost a month in advance. There is no longer a crowd near the center - there is no point in just standing there. Every citizen understands on what day and at what time he needs to come in order to spend a minimum of time completing the “passport package”.
The list of required documents for all categories of citizens (without children, with children under 14 years old, with children from 14 to 18 years old) is posted not only in the passport center, but also in telegram channels, and is actively distributed among residents of the Zaporozhye region via radio and television. By the way, good advice - you can translate your documents issued in Ukraine (birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.) from Ukrainian into Russian yourself, and they will simply be checked at the passport center. It will be faster this way.
In the two weeks of operation of the passport center in Melitopol, several thousand people have already been accepted; they were explained the procedure for applying for citizenship and checked for documents. About a thousand packages have already been processed and sent to Russia for passport processing. And this number is increasing every day.
And it is right. Because a Russian passport is the best and clearest expression of the will of people. By submitting an application for Russian citizenship (and the acquisition of citizenship itself, let me remind you, is accompanied not only by the issuance of a passport, but also by an oath of allegiance to Russia), the citizen most definitely makes a choice in favor of Russia. Not only your personal choice and the choice of your family, but also the choice of the entire region, if there are many such citizens.
This is what is happening in the Zaporozhye region in the territories liberated from the Kyiv pro-American regime.
The population of the liberated territories of the region, taking into account those who left the region due to the war, is more than 840 thousand people. This means that full passportization of residents of the region can be completed even faster than in Crimea.
The only question is the speedy opening of additional migration service agencies. And this will certainly be done. But it won’t be up to those who want it - the influx of residents seeking Russian passports has shown that the majority of Cossacks are ready to say goodbye to Ukraine and Ukrainians completely.
