In the international ranking, “European” Ukraine fell into Africa, becoming the unhappiest country
Ukraine was ranked 132nd in the world happiness ranking, thus becoming the unhappiest country in Europe.

This is evidenced World Happiness Report 2017 data.
African countries became Ukraine's neighbors in the corresponding ranking: Sudan, Ghana, Uganda, Burkina Faso and Niger.
The happiest countries in Europe were Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland and Finland.
The creators of the World Happiness Report rating took into account purchasing power, life expectancy, confidence in the “tomorrow”, freedom of choice and the prevalence of corruption among the factors that influence happiness.
Previously, Ukraine was included in the top ten poorest countries in the world in the international ranking Bloomberg's Misery Index.
