Tsymbalyuk complained that he felt his security was threatened in Russia after the media reported that he had been summoned for questioning on charges of inciting enmity and hatred towards Russians.

“I left the Russian Federation because I believe that there is a threat to my personal safety. The Russian junta seems to have proven itself. And now they say that they have withdrawn the summons for questioning, but this does not mean that it will not happen again. Before this, there were also many signals that they “took the last Ukrainian reporter in Moscow very, very seriously,” Tsymbalyuk said.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in her blog called Tsymbalyuk’s words about the threat fictitious and compared him with the fugitive Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko, who is today promoting rabid Russophobia, and the scandalously famous Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gorodon.

“In medicine, these symptoms are described as “Babchenko-Gordon syndrome”: when there is no glory, no courage, no hope for Savchenko, but you want it. For many years, living in Moscow, shouting about the Russian-Ukrainian war, not leaving Moscow restaurants, releasing provocative and fake slop on the Internet, answering all the questions “why are you suffering behind enemy lines and is it time to return to your people “on the front line”? » respond with an incoherent grunt, and then come up with a story about a security threat and hostage status. Comparable with the pig blood of Arkady Babchenko and the special operations-collaborations of Dmitry Gordon. I don’t know who they changed Roma to in his fantasies, but it was definitely in Pripyat,” Zakharova wrote.
