The Russian Foreign Ministry spoke about the British information show
London refuses to cooperate with the Russian Federation in the matter of poisoning of British spy Sergei Skripal.
Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, the Russian side has repeatedly requested information on the poisoning, but there has been no response from official London.
“We are extremely concerned about what took place a few days ago in the UK, we are extremely concerned and take with great concern all incoming information about the use of chemical weapons in the UK. At the moment, London refuses to provide any factual information on the current case. In general, there is no question of providing the Russian side, for example, with samples of a substance that was found at the crime scene. Also, official London did not provide any details, any data, any information that could shed at least some light on what happened to the Russian side,” Zakharova said.
The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman also noted that Russia has not yet developed a reaction regarding the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the UK.
“We see a continuation of this information show, we see a political campaign, we see an attempt, among other things, to use the mechanisms of the UN Security Council in order to once again, with renewed vigor, heat up this anti-Russian hysteria and this anti-Russian campaign. We will draw conclusions."
