The Russian Foreign Ministry is surprised by the statement of British Defense Minister Michael Fallon that the presence of the Russian fleet off the coast of Syria is a challenge for NATO. The official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated this at a briefing today.

“Completely wild statements were made from the lips of the British Minister of Defense. Does he really not know that Lavrov and Kerry meet regularly? She is sure that such statements are not accepted in Britain.
