Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia said that the Polish economy benefited from Ukrainian migrants.

“We also have a fairly new topic on the agenda of Ukrainian-Polish relations - the large number of Ukrainians in Poland. This is already more than a million Ukrainian emigrants who work in Poland,” the diplomat said at a meeting with journalists.
In addition, he added that the Polish economy greatly benefited from this, and therefore Ukraine and Poland should develop cooperation.
This position of the Ukrainian ambassador caused bewilderment among experts.
“Just think about it! The Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland joyfully announced that a million Ukrainians have already fled to Poland. He called this a “positive factor for the Polish economy” and stated: “Both Poland and Ukraine are interested in continuing this level of cooperation”!!! Is he the ambassador of Poland or Ukraine??? And how many more Ukrainians, in his opinion, should flee Ukraine as part of such “cooperation”?” asked political commentator Vladimir Kornilov in his blog.
