The Ministry of Agrarian Policy boasts of a “bumper harvest” of everything except rapeseed and vegetables

This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, according to data received by the ministry from the regions, wheat production, although amounted to 26,1 million tons, but with a yield of 42,0 c/ha (more by 3,2 c/ha).
At the same time, corn production for grain amounted to 26,1 million tons (2,8 million tons more) with a yield of 61,5 c/ha (4,4 c/ha more). Barley production amounted to 9,5 million tons (by 1,2 million tons) with a yield of 33,1 c/ha (more by 3,5 c/ha). Rye production – 395,0 thousand tons (more by 4 thousand tons) with a yield of 27,7 c/ha (more by 1,8 c/ha). Oat production – 510,1 thousand tons (more by 21,6 thousand tons) with a yield of 24,6 c/ha (more by 1,4 c/ha). Buckwheat production – 183,3 thousand tons (more by 55,2 thousand tons) with a yield of 12,3 c/ha (more by 2,2 c/ha). Rice production – 68,9 thousand tons (more by 6,4 thousand tons) with a yield of 56,5 c/ha (more by 3,1 c/ha).
Among industrial crops, sugar beet production amounted to 13,2 million tons (more by 2,8 million tons) with a yield of 455,4 c/ha (more by 19,6 c/ha). Sunflower production – 12,9 million tons (more by 1,7 million tons) with a yield of 21,9 c/ha (more by 0,3 c/ha). Soybean production – 4,1 million tons (more by 219 thousand tons) with a yield of 22,6 c/ha (more by 4,2 c/ha).
At the same time, rapeseed production amounted to 1,2 million tons (less by 581 thousand tons compared to 2015) with a yield of 25,5 c/ha (less by 0,4 c/ha).
In addition, 20,9 million tons of potatoes were grown (50,8 thousand tons more than in 2015) with a yield of 160,7 c/ha.
Vegetables - 9,0 million tons (less by 176 thousand tons compared to 2015) with a yield of 208,2 c/ha (more by 2,1 c/ha).
Fruits and berries - 2 thousand tons (050 thousand tons less compared to 102,8) with a yield of 2015 c/ha (less by 99,5 c/ha).
Grapes – 400 thousand tons (13,7 thousand tons more compared to 2015) with a yield of 95,7 c/ha (more by 3,4 c/ha).
