In Minsk they are hinting again: common energy prices – separate incomes
Russia and Belarus still have to agree on the two most difficult integration maps.
Political scientist Pyotr Petrovsky stated this on the air of the Belarus radio station, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If there is an understanding on the energy map, then on taxes, my fellow experts and I are racking our brains about how it is possible to combine or integrate two different tax systems of two different governing states (Belarus is a unitary state, Russia is a federation).
Let me remind you that the European Union refused to integrate tax systems because it saw the impossibility of this. But for oil and gas, the map should be based on the principle of the Eurasian Economic Union - unified pricing mechanisms in national currencies within the framework of union exchanges,” Petrovsky said.
At the same time, he expressed confidence that all integration maps will be agreed upon by the fall.
