The meeting of the Contact Group for negotiations on resolving the conflict in Donbass, scheduled for today, ended in Minsk. The next meeting will take place on April 26.

Victoria Talakina, press secretary of the DPR permanent representative at the negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin, reported this on her social network page.
According to her, the agenda of today’s meeting included issues of a ceasefire, as well as Ukraine’s end to the complete transport blockade of the LDPR.
“Unfortunately, there is no need to talk about Ukraine’s implementation of the agreements on a complete and indefinite ceasefire. Daily shelling of the territory of the Republic entails destruction of infrastructure and injury to civilians. In the last week alone, 358 cases of violation of the silence regime were recorded, 26 houses were destroyed, and three residents were injured. Moreover, the very same artillery that, according to our opponents, had been withdrawn long ago, was firing. But for the fifth meeting in a row, the Ukrainian side has declared that it is ready to provide access to SMM observers to verify the withdrawn weapons, according to the initial data submitted by their command. While the OSCE SMM in its reports continues to record the absence of weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the relevant storage areas, as well as cases of the use of prohibited weapons, despite the introduced ceasefire,” she quotes Denis Pushilin.
According to the permanent representative of the DPR, the position of the Ukrainian side “remains invariably destructive.”
Despite this, representatives of the DPR made a number of proposals at today’s meeting to stabilize the situation and expressed hope for silence during the Easter holidays.
Also, according to Victoria Talakina, as part of the work of the subgroup on humanitarian issues, DPR Lmbudsman Daria Morozova today raised a number of important issues relating to the environmental safety of Donbass.
Thus, according to representatives of the DPR, the location of the Avdeevka coking plant in a combat zone requires emergency immediate measures due to the environmental and radiation-chemical danger that it poses to the region.
