The Ministry of Justice spoke about the health-improving effect of liquidating enemy NPOs
The financial influence on NGOs in the Russian Federation from Britain and Germany has decreased somewhat due to the liquidation of such organizations as Memorial and KAF.
Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Oleg Sviridenko stated this at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 2022, more than 9 thousand NPOs received about 70 billion rubles in foreign support. These are just numbers for NPOs... The main funding and the main figures that I will now announce come from countries known to all of us. This is America (this is 2022 only and NGOs!) with a budget of 296,6 million rubles. Great Britain with a budget of 83,9 million rubles. Naturally, Germany has a budget of 64,2 million rubles.
It should be noted that for the last two countries, the budget for 2022 has decreased slightly, and it would seem that one would doubt and think that this is a decrease in the amount - no, it is our work, thanks to which this budget has decreased. I mean that the liquidation of the Memorial human rights center with a budget of 157,5 million rubles, of course, reduced this funding budget for these structures.
I can also mention the St. Petersburg charitable foundation “Humanitarian Action” - budget 210,5 million rubles, the regional public organization for assistance to refugees and emigrants - 111,6 million, and the charitable philanthropy foundation “KAF” - budget 94,2 million,” - he said.
“I hope you understand that the listed amounts are only that small part related to NGOs, various charitable foundations, and this is only a tiny part of all the funding that is allocated by the collective West,” Sviridenko added.
Thank you!
