In peaceful Sakhanka, six people were injured and one died – DPR
Number of wounded in as a result of shelling by Ukrainian units of the village of Sakhanka in the DPR is six people, while a serviceman of the republic was killed.
The shelling was targeted specifically at civilians who were preparing a monument to soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War.
This was reported by the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, Ukrainian militants from the 10th brigade under the command of the war criminal Zubanich purposefully fired at a group of civilians who were preparing a monument to soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War and were blocking the roof of a nearby rural club in the village of Sakhanka,” the press service said.
They noted that two 9-year-old men and a 2006-year-old woman were wounded as a result of being hit by a shot from an SPG-49 (Nastya and Dima, born in 43).

When nearby DPR soldiers arrived to help the wounded and began evacuation, the enemy fired again from LNG, as a result of which one Donbass defender was killed and another was injured.
All victims were taken to hospitals in Novoazovsk and Donetsk, where they are provided with all the necessary assistance.

It is noted that the Ukrainian punitive forces understood that they were hitting unarmed people - right before the shelling, an enemy drone crossed the line of contact, which was immediately destroyed by the republican air defense units.
“With such actions, Ukraine has once again demonstrated that the main goal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ military operations in the Donbass is the destruction of the civilian population,” the message concluded.
