“At about 3 o’clock the police received information about an explosion in the restaurant. District police squads and representatives of relevant services immediately went to the indicated address. Deformed remains of metal objects similar to fragments of a grenade were removed from the scene of the incident, previously identified as “RGD-5”. The seized items were sent for examination to definitively establish the type of explosive item.
According to an employee of the establishment, it turned out that after the restaurant closed, she began cleaning the premises. At about three o'clock in the morning, the woman heard the sound of breaking glass, and a few seconds later there was an explosion. Fortunately, no one was hurt. As a result of the explosion, the walls and furniture of the restaurant were partially damaged,” the statement said.
