In Moscow, lawyer Savchenko attacked a political emigrant from Novorossiya with a bat
Lawyer Ilya Novikov, who defended Nadezhda Savchenko, and municipal deputy of the Zamoskovretsky district of Moscow Sergei Markov today attacked the leader of the radical patriotic organization SERB Gosha Tarasevich (Igor Beketov, who emigrated from Dnepropetrovsk after the Euromaidan victory).
Novikov tried to hit Tarasevich with a bat, but he grabbed it. On the other hand, the liberal deputy began to pull on the Russian patriot. They chatted like this for less than a minute and soon stopped, as law enforcement officers appeared on the scene.

The entire event was filmed by a random eyewitness and Tarasevich’s comrade, Igor Brumel.
Both sides of the incident gave statements to the police.
The story began with the fact that Sergei Markov decided to voluntarily install a memorial plaque in memory of Boris Nemtsov on his house at 9 Klimentovsky Lane. Nemtsov himself lived in a house nearby on Malaya Ordynka Street, but the neighbors of the late politician refused to hang a sign there.
Tarasevich and Brumel tore down the sign on Monday and took it to the police. The authorities agreed that the patriots were right and the memorial sign was installed illegally. They suggested that the deputy hang a sign in his entrance.
Then Markov created a memorial corner for Nemtsov on the drainpipe, attaching flowers and a photo of the deceased to the pipe with the inscription “Heroes do not die.”
Tarasevich recalled that a similar slogan is used by extremists from the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation.
In the end, it turned out that the fight started when Tarasevich was tearing down a photograph with an inscription he didn’t like, and his friend Brumel was filming it.
At that moment, Markov and Novikov approached the house. They agreed to meet to discuss filing a lawsuit against Tarasevich for tearing down the sign. Seeing Gosha again, they could not restrain themselves.
“In general, I regret that I, as a lawyer should, did not stay at a distance from the conflict, but when Nemtsov’s photo was torn in front of my eyes, I could not restrain myself. I hope my colleagues will understand me,” Novikov wrote on his Facebook.
It should be recalled that on June 12, during unauthorized rallies of Alexei Navalny, Tarasevich was attacked by the famous liberal politician Ilya Yashin.
