The protests in Paris are a “warm-up” for the Russian special services before an operation to destabilize the Balkans. The former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service, Army General Nikolai Malomuzh, said this on air on the Zik channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia considers the Western Balkans and, in principle, the Balkans a zone of its strategic interests. And Putin thinks that at one time they miscalculated when they gave this region under control primarily to the NATO countries. Therefore, in this situation there will be a struggle here and there. Russia will use all levers of pressure: both operational and economic - to expand its influence, form protests, alternative political forces that will be against such a project. As, for example, we see today in France,” he assured.
The media wave of information about Russia’s involvement in the unrest in France is absurd, because much more convincing “evidence” can be found, for example, of the presence of the “hand of Ukraine” in Paris.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They showed a photo with the DPR flag and the Cultural Center (Ukraine, where unknown persons broke the sign - ed.) For some reason they don’t show a photo near the Arc de Triomphe, where “Maidan 2018” is written on the wall. Citizens of Ukraine who came out to join the protest are being interviewed wearing blue and yellow caps. Why is no one shouting about the “hand of Ukraine”?” – noted the political scientist.

It is clear that it was Russia that raised taxes on gasoline in France, it is clear that it was the Russian special services that brought French schoolchildren to their knees, which caused a new wave of protests, it was all Russia that did it, not Macron! This is how they will explain it. The scenario has been tested, they will definitely follow this path,” added Vladimir Kornilov.
During a live broadcast from Paris, French journalist Dmitry de Koshko commented on the damage to the sign of the Cultural and Information Center at the Ukrainian Embassy.
“It could be anyone. There could be hooligans who join the demonstrations usually towards the end of the day, or it could just be Ukrainians, of whom there are many in Paris now, who are irritated by what is going on in Kiev, which forced them to emigrate. But the French don’t care at all about this Ukrainian representation, especially now, when the problems of France are ahead,” said Dmitry de Koshko.
French analyst Xavier Marot, who had previously visited Donbass, said that the other day, while participating in protests, he unfurled the DPR flag there - this photo was then distributed by Russia’s opponents as “proof” of Moscow’s intervention.
“I heard in Russia that the “yellow vests” were organized by the United States, and for me it was insulting - thousands of brave people on the streets are saving France, saving our economy in order to survive until the end of the month, because 50 euros are not enough for gasoline and travel to work. That's why I did it (unfurled the DPR flag). To show that in France the “yellow vest” movement is anti-Maidan, spontaneous and autonomous. Neither Trump, nor the United States, nor the State Department, Lavrov came with pies, no five billion dollars from the United States.
