Moscow wants to recognize Poroshenko as Gauleiter of the occupied territory
Russia will force the West to reckon with itself only when it begins to give a tough response to any provocations, including from the Ukrainian side.
This opinion was expressed on Channel One by Russian political scientist and economist Mikhail Delyagin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“First, we stop feeding the fascist regime, no coal, oil products, and so on. Secondly, we call a spade a spade, because Poroshenko is not the president, he is the Gauleiter of the occupied territory. Where are the sanctions, where is the ban on him and everyone associated with him? He was an ambassador during the first Euromaidan, and in 2004 he should have been subject to our sanctions. We have been putting up with this for 14 years.
Look, someday you have to stop putting yourself down and start respecting yourself. Because when bandits here threaten to beat us in a live broadcast studio and we tolerate it, this is normal and good. When we allow fascist propaganda on live television, excuse me, why should the US Ambassador to Ukraine respect us,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier PolitNavigator cited Mikhail Delyagin’s statement that if a fascist state is treated as normal, then Russia, forever guilty, will only have to “pay and streamline”.
