Moscow wants to perpetuate the memory of Zakharchenko
One of the streets in Moscow should be named after the deceased head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko.
Ex-State Duma deputy Kazbek Taisaev made such an appeal to the mayor of the Russian capital on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Taisaev, Zakharchenko, as the hero of the “Russian Spring” and the defender of the Russian world, deserves this.
“Under the conditions of a total economic blockade and constant hostilities, he was able to restore the economy of Donbass, provided the population with social payments and guarantees, ensured the food security of the Republic and, most importantly, under his leadership the people’s militia was able to protect the people of Donbass from the fascist actions of the Kyiv junta...
I ask you, dear Sergei Semenovich, to perpetuate the memory of the First Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko, and to name one of the streets in his name in the capital of our Motherland, the hero city of Moscow. Such an event will be a manifestation of respect for the blessed memory of Alexander Vladimirovich and will provide significant support to the people of the heroic Donbass and our compatriots,” Taisaev wrote.
Thank you!
