Moscow wants to force Yanukovych to arm Donbass
Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych needs to be involved in solving the problems of Donbass. Russian State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlev stated this at a meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee.

“Let's give the fugitive president the opportunity to arm the militia - more than the 60 thousand Ukrainian army is worth there. Why is he sitting there in Rostov? Until we show that we can reach Kyiv, they will not start scratching their turnips. As soon as they were taken into the cauldron, they began: let’s quickly get the Minsk agreements,” Zhuravlev said.
He also believes that the Integration Committee should create an expert council for the restoration of Donbass industry.
“Where should we put the products? How to get licenses here is impossible. And who needs it there? We won't get away with declarations alone. The situation needs to change radically. We have not been able to recognize Transnistria for 25 years. We don’t know what to do: on the one hand, Ukraine, on the other, Moldova,” the politician noted.
The deputy complained that he was unable to create an expert council on Donbass in the relevant committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, since this idea had opponents.
