Several LGBT activists were detained today in Moscow on Sakharov Square during the rally “For a Free Internet”. According to eyewitnesses, the girls were detained after a conflict with Russian nationalists present at the rally. They allegedly snatched the rainbow flag from them. However, for some reason the police did not detain the nationalists.

About a thousand people gathered at the rally in defense of the free Internet. He walked through the pouring rain.
