Filming of “Crimean Sakura”, a 12-episode biographical series directed by Vitaly Pavlov about the life of the prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya, has started in Moscow.

The plot of the film is based on the biography of a prosecutor. The action takes place during Poklonskaya’s youth, with special attention paid to her personal life, reports LifeNews.
The first day of filming took place in the Presnensky Court of Moscow, where they filmed the trial of a businessman accused of fraud.
In June, filming of the series, the working title of which is “Crimean Sakura,” should continue in Crimea and Prague.
The main character will be played by actress Yulia Snigir.
