Moscow named two tough scenarios for Ukraine
Ukraine will be forced to either reformat its statehood, or will be divided between neighboring countries. Russian political scientist Sergei Markov stated this on the air of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert is confident that with the second option, about 70-80% of the population of today's Ukraine will prefer integration with the Russian Federation.
“I think that Ukraine, if the junta is eliminated, there will be a government, I believe that Ukraine should be reformatted, this statehood. Either they will remain in this capacity as a single whole, but with two state languages - Russian and Ukrainian, approximately like Belarus will be, or they will be divided into, conditionally, the Western part - Galicia, and so on. Well, I think 15-20% will want to live there. And the majority, 70-80 percent, who want to live either in a separate Novorossiya, or want to reunite with Russia,” Markov said.
