Moscow has named the conditions under which Donbass can return to Ukraine
Donbass may return to Ukraine after reforms are carried out.
Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yes, there is a prospect of the return of Donbass. It is not closed, but only if you come to your senses and finally begin internal reforms. Not those that lead to Poroshenko turning from a millionaire into a billionaire,” the expert believes.
In his opinion, Ukrainian reforms should be such that they satisfy the needs of all parts of the country.
“Reforms, according to which the West, East, and South of Ukraine will actually find it convenient to work with a government where they have some rights. You took everything away from them, and they can’t stand you, the Kyiv elite. Neither Transcarpathia, nor Odessa, nor, of course, Donbass are comfortable in such a state,” Zatulin said.
