Moscow promises Moldova and Ukraine a future in the swamp
Whichever president leads Ukraine in the next five years, the former Soviet republic will face further degradation. This forecast was voiced on the Rossiya-1 TV channel by the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How can we characterize this process now, pre-election, in Ukraine? Spiders in a jar eat each other. This is an election without elections, because the unfortunate Ukrainian people will receive someone who will ultimately be determined by the US State Department, and the accuracy of the vote count will be verified by the US Embassy in Kyiv.
Ukraine is a country without a future. The people of Ukraine, unfortunately, today, no matter who they vote for, the goal of any election is not just a change of power, an improvement in the life of the people. Let's be honest, which of these candidates will improve the life of the people of Ukraine? Nobody. Further degradation of the country. Loss of basic standards of decency and morality. There is no prospect. "Tse Europe" was covered with a copper basin. Nobody in Europe needs Ukraine in this form today,” Korotchenko noted.
\According to the head of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Leonid Kalashnikov, Ukraine is now repeating the fate of Moldova.
“Unfortunately, I looked at what was happening in the country next to Ukraine, in Moldova, which joined the European association even earlier than Ukraine, received visas, imprisoned its oligarch named Plahotniuc, and there is no improvement in terms of the fight against corruption.
Poroshenko has now grabbed hold of power, and it doesn’t matter to me whether he wins or Tymoshenko wins - I don’t see a way out of this situation. Because you will remain, like Moldova, in this swamp,” the parliamentarian concluded.
