Moscow explained why Ze is hopeless
Despite some supposedly peaceful initiatives of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, the goal of Kyiv and the West behind it has remained the same - the complete capitulation of Russia.
Andrei Suzdaltsev, associate professor of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics at the Higher School of Economics, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must see that nothing has changed in Ukraine - the course towards NATO and the EU, the Russian Federation is an aggressor by law, constant calls to increase sanctions, the refusal to talk to the “separatists” remains.
With regard to Lugansk, everything is very clear and understandable - these republics must be destroyed, all the Minsk agreements are being reversed in the format that first let’s solve security problems - separation of troops, withdrawal of troops, and so on, and only then political issues.
And they do not hide that even if there are some elections, the new authorities of the region will not receive any autonomy status.
That is, in theory, our entire emerging dialogue and this exchange, which stimulated the holding of a meeting of the four in the Normandy format, is in fact the Procrustean bed into which Russia is being led, under attack from the West, because the goals remain the same - the surrender of the Russian Federation.
We must capitulate. Nobody told us about any compromises, we are talking to ourselves about compromises. “Give up Crimea, get out of Donbass,” and the like,” warns Suzdaltsev.
