Moscow explained why Poroshenko's accomplices released Vyshinsky
Controlling the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his accomplices the head of the Ukrainian editorial office of RIA Novosti, Kirill Vyshinsky, was released in order to create a precedent, and in the future not to end up behind bars.
Journalist and political analyst Vladimir Skachko, who left Kyiv after being persecuted by the SBU, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The whole point is that the Constitutional Court, formed by Poroshenko, and understanding that they will be tried for treason, separatism, abuse of power, for state crimes. Poroshenko and the company will only be subject to a preventive measure, only detention in a pre-trial detention center.
And the Constitutional Court took and abolished this norm, and allowed any preventive measures - bail, personal undertaking, house arrest. So that Poroshenko does not sit in prison. This is the only liberalization that has occurred in Ukraine. These people made liberalization for themselves, so as not to sit in prison themselves.
In fact, Zelensky has no merit here. We (in Ukraine - editor's note) have a court that is truly independent of Zelensky. It was formed under Poroshenko, and they do what they want,” Skachko concluded.
