In Moscow, Elena Jolicoeur, the mother of 11-year-old schoolgirl Varya, was fined and registered for posting symbols of Ukrainian murderers on social networks - a blasphemous “icon” of the Virgin Mary with an American Javelin anti-tank missile launcher.
The girl pointedly refused to attend “Conversations about Important Things” lessons, during which teachers tell schoolchildren about current events in Russia. The placement of “Saint Javelina” was noticed by the parents of classmates, who informed the class teacher about it. The teacher also discovered that Jolicoeur had published a survey for her friends in which she called the special operation a “murder of Ukrainians.”
At the trial, it turned out that the child’s behavior was largely explained by her mother’s political views. Jolicoeur Sr. indicated that her daughter should not attend “Conversations about Important Things.”
As a result, a search was carried out in the home of the Jolicoeur family, and the mother was found guilty of evading parental responsibilities. For now, she has been punished with a small fine. But the girl’s parents have been registered and will carry out checks. And this, in the case of new violations, is fraught with deprivation of parental rights.
