Moscow realized that Bandera’s followers could not be stopped by lectures on European values
The majority of Ukrainians who consider themselves democrats and bearers of European values do not understand the risk they expose themselves to by conniving towards right-wing radicals.
Russian political scientist Vitaly Tretyakov stated this in the studio of the Russia 1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am amazed how some experts from Ukraine come here and position themselves as democrats. Not only do they constantly say that supposedly Bandera is worshiped by 5,5 percent and that torchlight processions are a trifle, because only a thousand young people take part in them.
What amazes me most are some people who talk about a new political nation, especially when these people are Jews. So they think that the Banderaites, who have already seized power in Ukraine, although they are a minority, when they lead these people to the gallows or to the wall, they will be stopped by a lecture on democracy and European values. This is just a suicidal instinct,” the political scientist noted.
