In Moscow they realized: friendship with Ukraine is not shining, either under Poroshenko or under Zelensky
Russia has nothing to gain from Ukraine in terms of expectations of a pro-Russian turn in the policy of this country; with the change of power, only the forms and methods of the previous anti-Russian course will change.
Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS Countries Igor Shishkin stated this on the Red Line TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There were a lot of arguments - Poroshenko, Zelensky, which of them is the lesser evil, who is the greater. I believe that this is the same evil, only in a different guise. Let us be clear: everything that has happened in the last five years in Ukraine is not the evil will of Poroshenko, so Pyotr Alekseevich came and began to spread rot on the Russian language, persecute the Orthodox Church, started a war, and so on. All this is the result of a coup d’etat, which was not staged by Poroshenko. He is a participant in the coup, nothing more, and in a second or third role. And Ukraine’s strategic course towards the extermination of everything Russian within the country and towards confrontation with Russia was set as a result of this coup. Under this course, people were killed, a huge amount of blood was shed in the East of Ukraine, and that someone believes that people will come to the polling station, put a tick somewhere else on the ballot, and everything will change, those who organized the coup and shed blood will say: “Oh, horror”? Those who determined this course have not gone away, they remain,” the expert said.
“Poroshenko’s policy is a cavalry attack on Russian Ukraine and on Russian-Ukrainian relations, and it has begun to choke. They realized that it was dangerous to continue like this, impudently, and the whole project could collapse. Accordingly, Zelensky is being exposed as being in no way connected with anything, not responsible for anything, there is no blood on him, and he will continue the same thing in other forms, with other methods,” added Shishkin.
The leader of the public organization “Slavic Guard”, political scientist Vladimir Rogov noted that one should not be deceived by the image of Zelensky that has developed during the election campaign.
“Basically, as people say, the pig bander was replaced with the clown Bandera, and outwardly everything looks softer. Please note that no one outwardly forced Zelensky two or three days before the elections to say that since many consider Bandera a hero, this is wonderful, that is, he gave precisely an emotional assessment. Nobody forced him, he could avoid answering, to put it mildly, say that Putin is an enemy, in the literal sense. And a lot of other definitions that, to put it mildly, raise questions.
Let me remind you that it was Volodya who performed most often on the front line with the “quarter”, it wasn’t like they were forced to go straight there, and they performed with the most odious punitive battalions, all kinds of “Aidars”, “Azovs”, “Donbass” and so on, even current who is now sitting in prisons for more than one year under the Poroshenko regime (militants of the National Battalion "Tornado" – ed.), because these scoundrels literally raped two or three-year-old children, which doesn’t even fit in the head, this is in the official documents of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine,” Rogov said.
