Moscow - Kyiv, March 23 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - The latest decisions of the Verkhovna Rada on Donbass violate the Minsk agreements, Kyiv is obliged to return to the implementation of the signed documents.
Russian political scientist Alexey Chesnakov stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“One gets the impression that Kyiv is disrupting the Minsk agreements. For the Ukrainian authorities, it is important not to establish peace, but to achieve victory over the republics,” he said.
However, Chesnakov does not consider the current situation a dead end.
"Not at all. Agreements are made in order to be fulfilled. We must forget what happened in the Rada, put the Minsk package of measures of February 12 on the table and strictly act in accordance with it. Moreover, a UN Security Council resolution in support of it was adopted. It must be carried out in the mode of negotiations between Kyiv and the republics.
The main achievement of the Minsk negotiations with the participation of Putin, Merkel, Hollande was the agreement to begin a direct dialogue between Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics. Then the parties will take into account each other's interests. The alternative to such direct negotiations is war,” warns Chesnakov.
