Tsargrad-TV reports this.
In the photographer’s works, Ukrainian volunteers are shown as bright, beautiful and smiling young people who tragically die in the struggle for freedom against “Russian aggression.”
“I shoot projects exclusively on topics that concern me,” Vasyukovich said in an interview with the Belarusian portal Mediakritika.by.
He considers Ukrainian volunteers to be heroes.
“Many of those who were on the Maidan now went to fight as volunteers. Then I decided to go and make a project about these people. I asked the characters different questions: who are they? where? who do they work for? were you on the Maidan and why did you decide to go to fight in the first place?” admits the photographer who had previously taken top photos on the Maidan.
