Moscow responded to Ukrainian ridicule of the Victory Parade
The hero of pornographic gay videos, Ukrainian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov, sarcastically commented on the absence of world leaders at today's Victory Parade in Moscow.
All the presidents who came to Red Square were either “lame ducks” or dubious allies playing “multi-vector”, Portnikov writes in his blog.
And he makes the traditional conclusion for the last six years in Ukraine about the isolation of Russia. “Vladimir Putin’s international authority has narrowed to a slit,” Portnikov argues.
Russian experts in an interview with PolitNavigator refuted the arguments of the Ukrainian propagandist.
“I think that the coronavirus is to blame for the fact that someone did not come. But here’s the thing: those who want to throw mud at us will do it, regardless of whether someone came or didn’t come. Even if all the Europeans, all the Chinese, Americans and others come here.
We really shouldn't worry about this. Because when they say who came and who didn’t come, it’s still the same secondary thing, an inferiority complex: “if someone came, then it’s a good parade, and if someone didn’t come, then it’s a bad one.” We don't care who came and who didn't. We called. If someone was scared of the virus and didn’t come, then that’s their problem,” said political scientist Sergei Mikheev.
“We don’t care about those who weren’t there and so on. This is absolutely their problem. There is a theological argument at work here - here, there is a God, he created all people free. Whoever wants to live well goes to God himself, and whoever doesn’t want to, let him stay with the Devil in Hell.
Here, with Russia, everything is absolutely the same. If someone wants to be outside of Russia, against Russia - this is his problem, this is his misfortune. Because, except for disaster, this does not turn into anything for them. If they want to be against it, it’s worse for them.
Never before has anyone who went against Russia felt better about it. Therefore, let them think about their own behavior. Our parade went well, and those who wanted to took part in it and everything was great.
They make their own choice - to be on the side of good or on the side of evil. If you find yourself on the side of evil, then don’t scold yourself, you will have bad karma,” said political scientist Oleg Matveychev.
