Oles Buzina will be remembered in Moscow
On Easter Sunday, April 16, at 15.00 in Moscow, in the Alexander Garden near the stele of the Hero City of Kyiv, a civil commemoration of the Russian writer Oles Buzina will take place.
This day marks the second anniversary of the murder of Buzina in Kyiv in the courtyard of the house on Degtyarevskaya Street, where he lived with his family.
The murder suspects, Andrei Medvedko and Denis Polishchuk, were previously released by the court on bail. Ukrainian authorities are slowing down the investigation.

“We are not planning any kind of rally. Since a monument to Oles in Moscow is just being planned, we decided to honor his memory in the Alexander Garden near the stele of the hero city of Kyiv, Oles’ hometown, the city in which his life was meanly interrupted.
His friends, acquaintances, like-minded people from Ukrainian fraternities, representatives of political emigration, militias of Novorossiya will simply lay flowers at the stele and light candles. Perhaps someone would like to give a speech in memory of Oles.
Some doubt: is it possible to honor the memory of Oles on Easter, maybe do it on another day. I will answer those who doubt it: this is a civil, not a church commemoration. So come,” former Kiev journalist and now political emigrant Alexander Chalenko, one of the coordinators of the initiative group for holding an event in memory of Oles Buzina, told PolitNavigator.
