Moscow sent Ukrainians to conquer Argentina and Canada
Kyiv needs to lay claim to other foreign territories, not Russian Kuban.
Russian liberal Boris Nadezhdin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You can think more broadly. In Kuban, according to the 2010 census, there are only about 60-70 thousand Ukrainians. There are places where there are much more of them: 300 thousand Ukrainians live in Argentina, almost a million in Canada. Therefore, there are not as many Ukrainians in Kuban as in Canada and Argentina, that’s where you need to go.
And one more important thing: if we start measuring where more people live: Russians in Ukraine or Ukrainians in Russia, then I assure you that this logic will not be in your favor. Because Russian villages and cities can be found in the Lvov region,” he said in response to articles published by Radio Liberty about the Ukrainian Kuban and supposedly ancient maps on which Ukraine includes not only Kuban, but also part of modern Moldova and Belarus .
Russian political scientist Arayik Stepanyan also commented on Kyiv’s ambitious claims, saying that this is all false propaganda that has nothing to do with reality.
“The statement and claims to Kuban are shameful, comrades! You are laying claim to the lands of the Circassians and Circassians. You began to lay claim to the Adyghe-Circassian lands because you had some maps drawn there a hundred years ago. This has nothing in common either with the Kuban autochthonous culture or with Asia Minor. Therefore, all your logic is false, absolutely stupid propaganda, not based on any historical, cultural or civilizational factors,” the expert concluded.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, in Ukraine they said that plan to use the Crimean Bridge for a trip to Kuban.
