In Moscow they argued about the mace of “Great Hetman” Poroshenko
The special powers of the president, spelled out in the scandalous law “on de-occupation,” will allow Petro Poroshenko to first establish absolute power and then good relations with Russia.

President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Alexander Okhrimenko stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
“Poroshenko is building the vertical of the great hetman. He wants to be the eternal president. Today he has strengthened his power. Perhaps he will declare martial law so that there will be no elections. It's like Belarus number two. Poroshenko wants to be like Putin. He can make Ukraine neutral and friendly to Russia,” Okhrimenko believes.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov objected to him.
“Under Kuchma it was possible to talk about the vertical. But when battalions armed with the same Poroshenko, who obey no one, are marching all over Ukraine... This makes us remember the famous phrase: if a gun hangs in the first act, in the last it will fire,” Kornilov said.
